the mini marriage

wow…i can’t believe that i have figured out the divorce problem in the US….ya , you see i was watching the Orangemen dismantle Vermont. ya i was sucking on a beer and chowin down some wings and fries…loaded fries…and medium wings…they were gooood…but anyway i was thinking that the problem with marriage is ….well for some anyway….is it is FOREVER…and that’s a long time…i mean how many people do you know who get a new car every 3-4 years…nothing wrong with the old one…they just get tired of it…i mean don’t get me wrong, they loved it when they bought it…they dreamed that one day that car would be theirs…they loved the color, the shape the feeling that they got just being there…with that car…so when the big day came and they bought it, well it was a dream come true….they brought it home and parked it and just sat in side and enjoyed the smell…they polished it everyday and showed it off to the neighbors and anybody else…” hey buddy ..new car?” ” yup, …ain’t she a beauty”….and then it starts…that first scratch…the polishing goes to every other day and then every week and then hardly ever….” hey buddie …nice car”…” what this piece of junk”….and as they drive down the street they  start to notice” OTHER CARS”..ahhh….but they are stuck…ya a 6 year finance…if they go for another car…it’s gonna cost them…they start checking out new cars but when asked….it’s no i’m stuck with this one…so for these people there is “THE LEASE”…what a great idea..you turn it in after 3-4 years and boom….free…no strings…see ya old wheels i want new…so why not have a lease for

marriage…after four years…done…over…on to a new one…and if you are happy…4 more years…but remember the marrage lease works two ways…maybe your spouse will tell you addiose….and all your belongings…gone…ya thats the way a lease works..you pay in for 3 years and in the end all you have are the memories…and a new spouse….of corse your lease history would be public…you know like carfax…ya this one has been around the block…lot of miles and a lot of owners….hmmm….now me ..i am in it for the long haul…i have no problem with forever…to me thats not enough time…i love you baby…fovever and a day…well say hey to the kids…and linney….the sears tower just ain’t tall enough….
